Review by hotel critic
As a family of three from the United Kingdom, our recent stay at the quaint cottage in Newport was a delightful experience. the lovely, cosy decor and well-equipped amenities made us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches such as the stocked fridge, large selection of biscuits, and welcoming pack of food provided by the owners. Our daughter, an avid reader, was thrilled to discover the sizeable library upstairs and spent hours exploring the collection. As for entertainment, the vast array of DVDs kept us entertained during the evenings, adding to the overall cosy ambiance of the cottage. The convenient location within walking distance of Newport Bus Station made it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas without the need for a car. Despite the lack of parking, we found the peaceful atmosphere of the rural-like village road to be a welcoming retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, our stay at the cottage in Newport was memorable, thanks to the family-friendly amenities and activities provided. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we look forward to returning in the future.
